H 23 var, 1895 5c Blue on Deep blue green Mulita envelope, 10c Black frank, used as a paste-up from Mensajero on May 9, 1897, small stain at top right, otherwise very fine, apparently the only Hidalgo Express envelope recorded on deep greenish blue coarse laid paper (H 19 is a similar color but fine wove; H 23 is on the same type of paper but in a lighter color)
