Sep 10" datestamp to folded letter to Cheraw, South Carolina, manuscript "Due 6" indicating the stamps were accepted as partial prepayment of the 10c rate, extremely fine gem, pairs of the "Red Jack" are extremely rare on cover and this partial prepayment is believed to be unique, letter is addressed to the President of the Cheraw & Darlington Railroad from the Wayside Home in Charleston requesting a charitable donation, pictured in Brian M.
