red datestamp with matching straightline "Ship" and manuscript "12" rate on printed circular from  New York City to Sanborton, New Hampshrie, perfect strike of framed "Forwarded by Aaron H. Palmer, New-York" backstamp, forwarded to Dover with additional "10" rate totaled to "22", minor splitting along folds, very fine, entertaining docketing on reverse reads "This Aaron H. Palmer was evidently small & mean enough to send his bombastic letter unpaid, misdirected it to Sanborton N.H. from which it was forwarded to Dover, thus costing my father 22 cts for postage!!! Don't think Mr. P. got much business out of it"
