(13 Feb) and adjacent “ET UNIS SERV BR AC.25” entry mark (25 Feb), with Paris (25 Feb) and Bordeaux arrival backstamps, adhesive colour slightly darkened from storage, a rare entire to France, postmarked the day after Louisiana joined the Confederacy; ex Allen, Knapp, Birkinbine, Walske.
