margins large to clear at top, cancelled with black two-line "Paid J.T.B." handstamp with second strike alongside, matching "Boyd's City Express Post May 25 9o'c" oval, on 1856 cover to local street address with "Hudson River Railroad Service" cornercard from 12th Street Station, very fine and scarce, this stamp was only used for about one year (Scott $350)
