collection of approximately 47 folded circulars and envelopes spanning the staples era through 1869 issue, all sent at the printed matter or unsealed circular rate, wide variety of prices current and business announcements, many franked with 1857 and 1861 1c issues as well as a few Star Die and Black Jack stamped envelopes, generally fine to very fine, this type of time-sensitive commercial correspondence was rarely kept and as such a collection such as this is exceedingly difficult to assemble
