old-time collection assembled in Germany, nearly all used in the 19th Century with parallel mint and used to 1940, decidedly mixed condition throughout but plenty of better items including (all used) 1 (2), 17, 37, 38, 71, 72, Pictorial issue to the 24c, Large Bank Notes to the 90c, Small Bank Notes to the 30c, Columbians to the 50c, First Bureau to the $1, Trans-Mississippi complete, some back of the book including first issue postage dues, scattered officials to the 90c, duck stamps including RW1, and much more, viewing a necessity, a bit of effort could prove rewarding
relatively complete throughout, better items include (mint unless otherwise noted) 331-42, 331a, 332a, 357-58, 369, 374a, 375a, 379-80, 404 used, 406a, 419-20 used blocks of 4, 423 used, 460 used, 461, 463a, 478 used block of 4, 479-80 used, 501b, 502b, 523-24, and 547 used, plus a nice selection of coils and imperforate (some unmounted, including VAMPs), generally fine to very fine, a wonderful collection in a quality not often seen (Scott $7,900+)

on hingeless Lighthouse pages, begins with 1 (four margins), picks up in the 1860s with 67, 70 (several shades), 71, and 75, Pictorial issue to the 15c, 1870 and 1873 Banknotes to the 30c, 1879 issue to the 90c, Small Banknotes to the 90c, Columbians of the 50c, Trans-Mississippi to the 50c, useful selection of Washington-Franklins, White Plains souvenir sheet (mint), Kansas-Nebraska complete (mint), and fairly complete thorough the 1930s, a very clean and well-assembled collection, viewing recommended
never hinged collection in mounts in a Scott album with slipcase, including strips of three, five, or larger covering this subject in a highly specialized fashion, just a few of the highlights include 1900 (5.2c Sleigh plate 5 strip of three), 2466b (32c Ferry Boat scarce "Bronx Blue" shade, plate 5 strip of five) and 2523c (29c Flag/Mount Rushmore, plate 7 strip of five), excellent start with room for expansion, clean and well-collected, fine to very fine or better
two large cartons with parallel mint and used collection on mostly hingeless pages, begins around 1941 and continues to the end of the century, very nearly complete for the years with many stamps represented by both singles and setenant blocks/sheets, also includes a bit of postal stationery, booklets, etc, mostly very fine and fresh, the face value alone makes this a worthwhile lot
