on stock cards and sheets, a bit of duplication amongst the more common issues, some better items throughout including (all unused/mint) 34, 46, 47, 48, O1, O2, O3, and R15, some stamps tropicalized/stuck down due to humidity, mostly fine to very fine, a wonderful opportunity for the dedicated collector to give this lot a careful inspection
approximately 30 items including both inbound and outgoing covers, we note 31 on cover to Hilo, UX1 used Hilo to Honolulu, UX2a mint (mounting residue), UX5 mint, UX6 mint, UX9 used Honolulu to Scotland, UY2r mint (crease), and 1850s incoming cover to Honolulu from Connecticut (faulty), some mixed condition to be expected, close inspection highly recommended
includes several hundred stamps (nearly all Pictorial Issue) sorted in glassines, as well as several dozen postcards mostly from Hawaii and Japan, bit of additional material including Disney stamp album, mixed condition but well worth a close inspection, this material came from a stamp shop in Hawaii and there's a lot of potential here for exciting discoveries
complete sheet of 12x16 stamps (192) with no horizontal perforations, never hinged and very fine, an extraordinary and eye-catching complete sheet of this rare error which would be ideal for exhibition, the Scott Catalogue only lists vertical pairs imperforate between but does not list horizontally-imperforate pairs, as the former this sheet would catalogue $21,600, ex-General Harry Hill Bandholtz
