two large cartons with parallel mint and used collection on mostly hingeless pages, begins around 1941 and continues to the end of the century, very nearly complete for the years with many stamps represented by both singles and setenant blocks/sheets, also includes a bit of postal stationery, booklets, etc, mostly very fine and fresh, the face value alone makes this a worthwhile lot
approximately 42 items on stock cards, we note (in no particular order): used REA5, Shanghai overprints including K7, couple unused newspaper stamps including PR10 and PR13, PR120 used, C2 mint, JQ4-5 mint, parcel post mint to the 20c (15c precanceled), and O4 mint, additionally some foreign material including Canada 15c Jubilee used and Great Britain used seahorses, lastly 7 unused Columbian Exposition postal cards and unused hand-colored Magnus Civil War patriotic, a mixed group but plenty of fine to very fine material to be found, close inspection necessary
mostly used, better items including 134-37, 139, 145-55, 156-66 (90c reperforated at bottom), 190-91, 206-09, 215-18, and 219-29, also includes a few covers included illustrated advertising, some mixed condition and centering varies from stamp to stamp, overall an attractive and useful collection that is well worth a close inspection (Scott $5,200+)
in mounts on Minkus pages, fairly complete from 1920s on, mostly never hinged from 1930, includes Prexies and Liberty issues to $5, earlier highlights are Columbians 1c-2c, 4c, 6c-8c, and 30c, Trans-Mississippi 1c-5c, 10c, Pan-American, Louisiana Purchase, and Jamestown all complete, Pan-Pacific, and other various issues, also Airmail with C18, fine to very fine or better, many attractive well-centered stamps throughout
includes E1 mint (thins), E2-3 used and on cover, E4 used, J1-7 used, J15-21 used, J27 used, J28 mint, J35-36 mint, J43-44 used, Q1-12 used, QE1-4 mint, and JQ4 mint, small faults throughout, much fine to very fine (Scott $3,965+)
assorted singles, sets, and blocks on auction house/dealer cards, better items throughout, but we note (all mint) 557 plate block of four, 585 plate block of four, 599A pair, 622 plate block of six, 631 plate block of four, three complete sets of the Fourth Bureau issue to the $5, Prexie plate blocks complete (including duplicates of the $2 and $5), and 1053 plate block of four (3), some faults to be expected but generally fine to very fine, mostly neat and identified which should make viewing easy, well-worth a close inspection
carton with a main United States collection plus additional material, most 19th Century stamps faulty to some degree but we note (all used) 1, 9, 15, 37, 38, 71, 72, Pictorials to the 24c, Large Bank Notes to the 30c, some back of the book including first issue revenues, several binders of 20th Century material with mint plate blocks including Prexies complete to the $5, many stamps fine or better, requires a bit of work but could prove rewarding
small group including various mint and used stamps, we note better including mint White Plains souvenir sheet, 371 top and bottom plate number blocks of six, 372 plate number block of six, 373 arrow block of four, and center line blocks of four of 368, 371, and 373, generally fine to very fine, an interesting and worthwhile group
several dozen complete booklets from the 1960s/90s, including better Express Mail, all very fine (face value $410+)
approximately 27 items on stock cards, we note better including 271 mint, 288 mint block of three, 294-99 mint (plus 295 mint pair and plate number strip of three), 325 mint, 342 used, and 419 mint, few dubious coils not counted, small flaws but generally fine to very fine, an attractive and useful group (Scott $1,200+)
mostly mint collection beginning with 551-73, 578-91, 583a, 595, 599A, 634A, Kansas/Nebraska complete, 692-701, Prexies complete, 832b used strip of 3, and more including coils and booklet panes, generally fine to very fine and fresh, a wonderful group (Scott $2,500+)
on stock pages, mostly singles and blocks with retail values to about $195 (several thousand dollars total), much of the material never hinged, mostly very fine or better, a wonderful and easy-to-work-with stock,
