December 17, 1940 cover from Corozal franked with 1939 3c Purple (122), addressed to Missouri with January 2, 1941 St. Louis and "Directory Service Given" backstamps, returned to Corozal where letter was roughly opened to find sender's address, marked "Received in bad condition at..." and three post office seals applied, very fine and attractive use (Scott $250)
