red exchange datestamp on incoming folded letter from Liverpool, Great Britain 1sh Green strip of four (cut to shape) tied by "Liverpool 8 Ap 1854" oval duplexes, endorsed "Per Asia" departing Liverpool April 8 and arriving New York April 20, red "20 Cents" rocking horse credit and two strikes of "96" quadruple rate handstamp of Philadelphia (Clarke 594), very fine, a beautiful and rare cover, this handstamp is not listed in red until 1860 in Clarke
