red datestamp with matching "Paid" double octagon on folded letter to Halifax, England, manuscript "50" double freight money sail rate, endorsed "Per Hottinguer N. York Pkt 16th Nov'r 43" but missed that ship so probably carried on the Montezuma, backstamped "6 De 43 Liverpool Ship" where 8d ship letter rate was applied, very fine
