franked with 1863 5c Brown and strip of four 10c Green (76, 68) tied by San Francisco targets, paying the 45c triple rate under the 1857 convention, carried overland to New York where it received a red "New York Paid 36 Nov 21" datestamp, carried via Cunard's Cuba departing Boston November 22 and arriving Queenstown December 1, Calais and Paris transit and Bordeaux arrival datestamps, very fine
