red "San Francisco 30 Paid Jan 5 1860" datestamp on large envelope, red "New York Br Pkt 7 Paid Feb 1" transit datestamp, carried aboard Cunard's Africa to Liverpool, Aachen transit and Neumark backstamp, very fine, rare use of the "30 Paid" handstamp for Prussian Closed Mail rather than double the 15c rate to France
