    117, 1869 12c Green two singles used with single 1¢ buff (Scott 112, tiny tear) on 1870 cover to Rosario Argentina; Cambridge Mass Feb 21 date stamp to left of stamps; prepaid at the 25¢ rate via American packet connecting a French packet at Rio de Janeiro, but the route changed in Jan 1870 to connect with a British packet at a rate reduced to 18¢ and thus a 7¢ overpayment; cover with minor edge wear and a small repair at bottom; Very Fine usage; ex-"Lafayette"(2003); 2016 Philatelic Foundation certificate
