small box containing (in no particular order): Brooks reply card essays, Columbian Exposition postal cards, New York Provisional and 1847 5c on cover (both faulty), about three dozen postal card essays/color proofs, Philadelphia and Boston Franklin marks, 1c postal card surcharges, 1731 Fog's Weekly Journal, 5c parcel postage due on cover, "Bowler & Merrill's Special Postal Card" private mailing card, UX3 cards with advertising, several dozen pioneer postcards, revenue stamps on document, a money order business postal card essay, and much more, mixed condition but mostly fine to very fine, a wealth of interesting material here with many items that would do well in a retail stock or on eBay, view to appreciate
