blue datestamp on folded letter to Cognac, France, red straightline "Paid" with manuscript "21" for American packet treaty rate via England, endorsed "pr. Steamship Atlantic 16th April" but the Atlantic was laid up for repairs in Liverpool so carried on the Baltic instead, Paris transit and Cognac backstamp, very fine
