108 covers and postal cards, mostly Bank Note era but some earlier, better cancellations throughout including negative numerals and circular rate handstamps such as Cole VL-20 and VL-72, also attractive advertising covers and interesting uses, the negative cancellations show progressions of the same device and would generally fine to very fine, a worthwhile group that could easily be expanded upon

13 covers from Maine franked with 1869 3c Ultramarine, better cancellations including Lewiston caret (Skinner-Eno SD-C 3) and Portland "mask" (PH-P 23), few small faults, overall a fine to very fine and interesting group
about 200 covers with a wide variety of interesting cancellations, we note interesting cancellations throughout including a Falmouth wheel of fortune, Lewiston and Auburn belt buckles, negative numbers and letters, plus better advertising, surprisingly few cancellations listed in Cole demonstrating how much further research there is to be done in the cancellations of this era, generally fine to very fine, a wonderful group
